Affective Computing
The history of affective computing began in
earnest with the US computer scientist Rosalind Picard (1997). Once you have a computational model of emotional
behavior, you can even imagine novel emotions that dont exist in nature; and
thats what the Spanish computer scientist Lola Canamero did (Modeling Motivations And
Emotions As A Basis For Intelligent Behavior, 1997) before going on to build
