The Ballad of Me e le dolci She Didn't Lie e
a Rough And Ready (1974),
dall'orecchiabile 35mm Dreams (1974) alla struggente Ghost Writer (1977),
da I May Not Be Your Kind a New York Skyline,
dalle armonie vocali antiquate di Cool Down Boy
Jeffreys resurfaced after a nine-year hiatus with Don't Call Me Buckwheat (RCA, 1992), his most political statement ever, paced with a stronger emphasis on the reggae rhythm (Racial Repertoire, Spanish Blood). Wildlife Dictionary (1997) fuses pop, hip-hop and jazz, thus obliterating Jeffreys the wild rocker. |
