Jeff and Jane Hudson, who had recorded two singles with the Rentals in Boston,
relocated to New York and crafted the abstract electronic vignettes of the EP
World Trade (Lust, 1981) and of the album
Flesh (1982 - Captured Tracks, 2011):
the sensual whispers of Cat Scan,
the subhuman rockabilly of PCP, the industrial music of
Information.
Their musical career ended with the single Special World (1983).
They occasionally returned to the recording studio and over the decades released the albums Zeta Brew (1997), Burn (2002), containing covers of their classics, and
The Middle (2016) as well as the single
In My Car/ Computer Jungle (2011).
