Finnish lo-fi black metal band Horna stuck to the stereotypes of the genre on
Hiidentorni (1997) and
Kohti Yhdeksan Nousua (1998).
Haudankylmyyden Mailla (1999) and
Sudentaival (2001) were routine.
Musta Kaipuu (2004 - Moribund, 2009)
In a quest for stylistic renewal,
Sotahuuto (2004) was a tribute of sorts to Bathory, and
Aania Yossa (2008) was a medieval concept about the black plague,
and the double-disc Sanojesi Aarelle (Moribund, 2008) added a second vocalist.
