The Coathangers, an Atlanta-based female rock band, played old-fashioned
amateurish garage-punk on
The Coathangers (Rob's House, 2007), with
Ramones-esque romps like
Shut the Fuck Up,
and Scramble (2009), with the hilarious funk-punk Stop Stomp Stompin'.
Larceny & Old Lace (2011) was another joyful mess, and
Hurricane another demented standout.
