British supergroup Crippled Black Phoenix comprises members of
Mogwai,
Electric Wizard ,
Esoteric (Andy Semmens),
Iron Monkey and Gonga (Joe Volk), bands that run the gamut from
post-rock to heavy metal.
They debuted with A Love Of Shared Disasters (Invada, 2007), a confused
and amateurish work.
200 Tons Of Bad Luck (Invada, 2009) contains the
18-minute Time of Ye Life/Born For Nothing/Paranoid Arm of Narcoleptic Empire and one hour of filler.
The double-disc The Ressurectionists & Night Raider: 2007-2009 A.D. (Invada, 2009) collects rarities.
