Eltro is a Philadelphia-based combo that plays spaced-out psychedelic-rock, driven by two percussionists and electronic keyboards, as in a much more ethereal Flaming Lips. Information Changer (Miner, 1998), with the 14-minute I Begin To Believe, Velodrome (2001) and Past and Present Futurists (Absolutely Kosher, 2003) are only limited by the fact that no moment is particularly more emotional than the others, but each works as a transcendental hologram that must be taken as a whole.
