British producer (Adam) Freeland began as a drum'n'bass producer but established
himself as a protagonist of the dance-punk revival with
the sarcastic single We Want Your Soul (2003), off Now And Then (2004).
Mind Killer merges hard rock, hip hop and industrial dance.
Burn The Clock sounds like the electronic remix of an instrumental psychedelic guitar solo.
On the other hand, Supernatural Thing is a relatively straightforward psychedelic-soul anthem.
Unfortunately the rest is filler. This should have been a six-song EP.
Cope (2009), de facto a collaboration with producer
Alex "Metric" Drury, better integrated
electronic dance music (his electronic devices) and electric rock music (a
group of rock instrumentalists),
including Gerald Casale of Devo in Only a Fool (Can Die)
and a cover of David Essex's Rock On.
He then formed the quartet The Acid, that debuted with Liminal (2014).
