country-rock power-trio
Land Of Talk, fronted by rugged vocalist-guitarist Elizabeth Powell,
debuted with the EP Applause Cheer Boo Hiss (2007).
The songs of Some Are Lakes (2008) were passionate and corrosive,
if not particularly original; but mostly it was the woman's personal show.
