catchy albeit whimsical folk-punk that connects
the Violent Femmes with the alt-country
of the 1990s.
Threadbare (2009) contained a few charming tunes, such as
Threadbare and High Without Hope 3, but the atmosphere was
rather lifeless.
Van Pier launched his project Waters with Out in the Light (2011).
