Finland'bass-less trio Skepticism were the European masters of ultra doom, thanks to the massive medieval-sounding church-organ that depressed Stormcrowfleet (1995), one of the most influential albums of "funeral doom", and the EP Ethere (1997).
Farmakon (2003) and Alloy (Red Stream, 2008) repeated their cliches with class but the latter already displayed little imagination.
