Sote (Iranian dj Akta Ebtekar) started out with breakcore singles but then
concocted an electronic hodgepodge of world-music, drum'n'bass, dubstep and grime on Dastgaah (2006).
Persian Electronic Music 1966-2006 is a split album with
composer Alireza Mashayekhi.
Ornamental (Isounderscore, 2009)
offers compositions by Mashayekhi performed by the
Iranian Orchestra For New Music and "remixed" by Akta Ebtekar.
