Yeti, fronted by Jon Teague, were heirs to the Texan psychedelic tradition
who delivered the brainy freakouts of
Things To Come (Life Is Abuse, 2000)
and
Volume Obliteration Transcendence (2004).
Teague then formed
the Great Tyrant
with Daron Beck, a project that evolved into
Pinkish Black. The album
Pinkish Black (Handmade Birds, 2012)
contains their fiery Tell Her I'm Dead.
Daron Beck died in 2024.
