English singer Lily Allen
became famous in the early era of social networks,
when Myspace was the fashionable platform. She became
a star in England with the album Alright, Still (2006), containing
LDN and
Smile, both produced by Future Cut (the duo of Tunde Babalola and Darren Lewis).
It's Not Me It's You (2009) still contains
The Fear and
Not Fair, but
Sheezus (2014) and
No Shame (2018) were largely uneventful even by her very low standards.
She then moved to the USA and started a career on Broadway.
She returned after seven years, now relocated in Los Angeles, with the more dignified
divorce album
West End Girl (2025),
perhaps inspired by
Beyonce's Lemonade (2016) and Adele's 30 (2021).
It contains Madeleine, crafted by a dozen producers and songwriters,
its companion betrayal song Tennis,
and Pussy Palace.
