One of the most obnoxious vocalists of all time, Canadian singer Justin Bieber became a star at the age of 14 with the best-selling EP My World (2009), containing obnoxious dance-pop ditties such as One Time, produced and composed by the duo Movement with Tricky Stewart and James Bunton, and One Less Lonely Girl, produced and composed by Zeke Lewis, Balewa Muhammad, Sean Hamilton and Hyuk Shin. The album My World 2.0 (2010) added another hit, Baby, composed by The-Dream and Christopher Stewart, as well as Never Say Never. Under the Mistletoe (2011) and Believe (2012), which includes the single Boyfriend (crafted by Mike Posner and Mason "MdL" Levy), were even worse. Journals (2013) was the ultimate definition of "dull". His masters then adopted a more electronic sound for Purpose (2015), which includes his mega-hits What do you Mean (composed by Jason "Poo Bear" Boyd and produced by Mason "MdL" Levy), Love Yourself (composed by Ed Sheeran and Benny Blanco) and his most popular song Sorry (by songwriters Julia Michaels and Justin Tranter and by producers Sonny "Skrillex" Moore Michael "BloodPop" Tucker). Where Are U Now (2015), a collaboration with Diplo and Skrillex, flirted with trop-house.

By the end of the decade Bieber had sold more than 100 million records. His sixth album Changes (2020) debuted at the top of the sales charts just like all the previous ones. It was related to music just like a whistle is related to birds. Yummy and Intentions were the singles.

Justice (2021) was actually a love tribute to his wife, nothing to do with "justice" other than quoting Martin Luther King a couple of times.
