the exact opposite of the "chillwave" sound popular at the time: the single
Life Is A Whore (Boom Chick, 2008),
I Don't Like You (Avant, 2008),
You Will Know (2009),
and
Television Screen (2010) veered towards
brief punk-length female-fronted synth-driven garage-rock with hysterical vocal fits.
Black Bug (FDH, 2010 - tUMULt, 2011) also exceled at the short ferocious
outbursts (Fell In Love With, Make Her) that sounded like
the Babes In Toyland
meet Six Finger Satellite.
The quirky instrumental The Wave was a premonition of the
instrumental novelty Police Helicopter (2011) to come.
