Irish female singer-songwriter CMAT (which stands for her real name Ciara Mary-Alice Thompson) debuted with If My Wife New, I'd Be Dead (2022), sounding like an operatic version of Nashville's country music (I Wanna Be a Cowboy Baby), an imitator of the dreamy teen-idols of the 1960s like Petula Clark and Dusty Springfield (2 Wrecked 2 Care and Groundhog Day), and, quite simply, an aspiring pop diva (I Don't Really Care for You and Nashville).

Crazymad for Me (2023), produced by Matias Tellez, is much less entertaining collection, just silly dance-pop ballads with the occasional country influence. The grandiose arrangement of California is embarrassing.

Euro-Country (2025), produced by Oli Deakin, contains Euro-Country (echoes of Dolores O'Riordan of Cranberries), the jangling folk-rock of When a Good Man Cries, Take a Sexy Picture of Me (echoes of 1950s teen-idols pop), and the emotional crescendo of The Jamie Oliver Petrol Station. All rather bland and dejavu'.
