Gazelle Twin, the project of English singer and electronic musician Elizabeth Walling, crafted the electronic lieder of The Entire City (2011). They were underproduced and sung in an amateurish tone, but a couple of them displayed a promising

  • Haxan Cloak if menacing imagination (Men Like Gods and I Am Shell I Am Bone). Unflesh (2014), boasting a much more sophisticated production, veered towards gothic industrial dance-pop, but an original version of it, particularly when coupled with timid vocals and beats, like in Anti Body and Belly of the Beast.

Kingdom Come (2017), with longer songs, perfected the use of the electronics to sculpt sinister atmospheres. However, the results are still mediocre, except for the dark death-evoking vortex See How They Run and the industrial Metro for metronomic beat, eerie drones and operatic vocals
