New York-based Kansas-born house-music composer Brian Leeds debuted the project Huerco S with a series of EPs: HRCS-001 (2011), Wicked Bass (2012), Untiled (2012), with a 20-minute piece called Untitled, Opal Tapes (2012), Future Times (2013), Apheleia's Theme (2013), with the slightly syncopated nine-minute Apheleia's Theme, Proibito (2014), and Railroad Blues (2015), with Rushing To Paradise (9:21) and Transit (See See Rider) (12:04).

If the album Colonial Patterns (2013) was devoted to trivial techno, the second album, For Those of You Who Have Never (2016), delved into dreamy and contemplative ambient music, notably the glitchy foggy A Sea of Love and the aquatic and windy Hear Me Out. The cassette Quiet Time (2016) contains only the 31-minute QTT4 in the same heavenly and static vein. Plonk (2022) contains some chaotic electroacoustic doodling but also Plonk III, which sounds like a house remix of a Jon Hassell third-world dream, the nine-minute chilled-out minimal soundscape of Plonk VI and the lugubrious eleven-minute cosmic drones of Plonk X.
