Atlanta's rapper Alyssa "Mulatto" Stephens offered a provocative form of
trap-pop crossover with the
singles Bitch from da Souf (2019)
and Muwop (2020),
both included in Queen of da Souf (2020)
Renamed "Latto" instead of "Mulatto", she became a pop star thanks to
Big Energy, the hit produced by produced by
Lukasz "Dr Luke" Gottwald,
and Vaughn Oliver which sampled
Tom Tom Club's Genius of Love (1981).
That song and
and Sunshine were the only attractions of the otherwise boring
777 (2022).
