Lone, the project of English producer Matt Cutler, dabbled with
brainy hip-hop instrumentals on
Lemurian (2008) and Ecstasy and Friends (2009),
but then transitioned to a more personal and frenzied kind of bass music
on
Emerald Fantasy Tracks (2010), the
EP Echolocations (2011), containing Coreshine Voodoo,
and Galaxy Garden (R&S, 2012).
