Colombian singer-songwriter and rapper Mabely Mena aka Mabiland
debuted with the five-song EP Ciclos (2015) and the
pensive and almost philosophical
album 1995 (2018), on which she refined her hybrid of
neosoul, funk, hip-hop and pop.
In the next two years she released a dozen singles and two EPs.
Ninxs Rotxs (2021) lacked the depth of the debut but expanded her
music to incorporate elements of trap, reggaeton and Afropop.
