New York-based Puerto Rican feminist rapper Destiny Frasqueri
became an Internet sensation
as Wavy Spice with the song Bitch I'm Posh (2013), that introduced
her as the rap equivalent of rock's riot grrrls.
More digital tracks followed until she debuted her first album,
1992 Deluxe (2017) as Princess Nokia, an expanded version
of her mixtape 1992 (2016).
She returned with
Everything Sucks (2020), containing the singles Balenciaga and Practice,
and Everything Is Beatiful (2020), containing the singles Sugar Honey Iced Tea (S.H.I.T.) and Green Eggs & Ham.
