The Wallows,
a Los Angeles quartet consisting of guitarist Dylan Minnette (an actor famous for his impersonation of Clay Jensen in a TV drama), vocalist Braeden Lemasters, drummer Cole Preston and bassist Zack Mendenhall, rose to prominence when the power-pop ditty Pleaser (2017) went viral.
The six-song EP Spring (2018) added the laid-back These Days
and the breezy Pictures of Girls.
The album Nothing Happens (2019) contains
the bubbling synth-pop single Are You Bored Yet? (2019).
The EP Remote (2020) and sophomore album
Tell Me That Its Over (2022) were bland collections of faceless melodies.
