This DVD-R collection of Mack Sennett comedies has been mastered from 8mm and 16mm reduction prints that range in visual quality from poor to fair, with analog video transfers being partially responsible for not presenting all of what the source prints have to offer.

Ambrose’s Fury (1915) has been mastered from a fair 8mm reduction print, with dust, speckling, and other print flaws present in the picture.

Cannon Ball (1915) has been mastered from a poor to fair 8mm reduction print, with poor image quality. Dust, speckling, frame jitters, and other print flaws are present.

The Pride of Pikeville (1927) has been mastered from a fair to good 16mm reduction print, with dust, speckling, and other print flaws present.

The films are presented with soundtracks compiled from preexisting low-fidelity music recordings.
