This DVD-R collection has been mastered from a range of fair to good 8mm and 16mm reduction prints.

The films are accompanied by soundtracks compiled from preexisting jazz music recordings.

Playing Horse (1915) has been mastered from a good 16mm reduction print with reasonable image quality. Dust, speckling, schmutz, mild frame jitters, print tears, emulsion scrapes, and other print flaws are present.

We wouldn’t recommend this passable disc but one of these films is available nowhere else on home video.
