The Kid Brother
(1927)

This short comedy, directed by Ted Wilde with J.A. Howe and Lewis Milestone, stars Harold Lloyd and Jobyna Ralston, with Walter James, Leo Willis, Olin Francis, Constantine Romanoff, Eddie Boland, Frank Lanning and Ralph Yearsley.

The film is accompanied by the orchestral music score by Carl Davis originally prepared for the Photoplay Productions 1989 Thames television presentations.

This two-disc DVD collection is mastered from 35mm restoration prints overseen by The Harold Lloyd Trust, which should represent the best-surviving prints of these seven Harold Lloyd shorts and feature films.

The film is presented with a music score composed by Carl Davis, and with optional audio commentary by Suzanne Lloyd, Annette D’Agostino Lloyd and Richard Correll.

We fully expect that this collection will be the best-available editions of these wonderful films, and recommend it sight unseen.
