This Blu-ray Disc and DVD combo edition has been mastered from a 2K high-definition video transfer from a duplicate 35mm negative, with conflated inserts from other prints. A substantial amount of work on image stabilization and the digital removal of dust, scratches and speckling has been performed.
The film is accompanied with a reconstruction by Gilliam B. Anderson of the original music score, performed on piano by Sara Davis Buechner. The soundtrack is presented in uncompressed stereo on the Blu-ray Disc.
Supplemental material includes an interview with Casper Tybjerg, a visual essay by David Bordwell, and a booklet essay by Mark La Fanu.
