Another opening of another show . . .

This time Rhett auditioned for "The Best Christmas Pageant Ever."  He played the preacher's son.

He had to do a LOT of shows (this was community theater), but he loved performing!

80 Never looked so Good!

My parents turned 80 last month.  

We held a celebration to honor their lives filled with love, faith, and family.

I might have shed a tear when we all sang "Meet the Happiest Family!"

Ouch!

I got a call from the school that Rhett had cut his leg.  I quickly ran to pick him up.  He calmly told me that he was totally okay and didn't need to see a doctor.

So, I lifted up the bandage, and told him to immediately get in the car.  Ouch!  We were off to urgent care!

19 stitches later . . .

So flippin' good!

Savanna has been part of the gymnastics team at Lehi Legacy Center. 

 She loves to tumble and compete and has had such a good time!

Happy Birthday, little fish!

Brianne always loves special cakes for her birthday. This year she asked for a couple of fish . . . maybe because she's a fish in the water.  I love watching her swim!

Brianne always has a smile and works so hard.  I am so glad she is my daughter!

Ruth's Blessing

We gathered in Wyoming for Labor Day Weekend for Ruth's baby blessing.

We went to the Fort Collins Temple Open House while we were there.

It was a beautiful day celebrating an amazing little baby straight from heaven!

Grotto Falls

This is one of my favorite hikes . . . Grotto Falls.  

It's easy and peaceful and beautiful, and close to the best ice cream in the state!

An angel arrives

Ruthie was born on Canada Day!  

We are so happy she is here, and even more grateful that Melissa is healthy and survived the pregnancy.

I enjoyed time with Kaden and Camille and Kevin and Kathryn as we all went to Cheyenne to greet this new baby and celebrate my birthday!

Eternal Families

This weekend was just about perfect.  

Brooke and Millie were sealed into Joseph and Melissa's eternal family.

I went to the nursery with Brooke, Millie, Lydia, and Hyrum.  Kathryn and I helped them get ready just before the sealing.  We each held a twin, and Lydia and Hyrum walked in with us to greet their parents in temple clothing kneeling at the altar.

Kathryn and I were able to hold them at the altar.  Kevin and Kaden were the witnesses.  The spirit was so strong as this little family was sealed.

The next day was Mother's Day, Melissa's birthday, and the sweet babies were blessed.  What a wonderful day!

Tulip Festival

Rhett and I thoroughly enjoyed taking cool pics at the Thanksgiving Point Tulip Festival.

Allyson and Brianne enjoyed a fun trip to our nation's capitol.  I love seeing them enjoy time together!

Easter Surprise

When one goes through a divorce, it's a given that some of your holidays you are going to be spent without your children.  Easter this year was supposed to be one of those days:  me alone, and the kids with Richard.

But, Richard's flight was delayed so he didn't get in until Sunday afternoon.  Then Melissa decided to surprise us by coming all the way from Wyoming to say hello.  So, instead of being alone, I had ALL of my children with me on Easter morning!  Thank you, Heavenly Father, for that tender mercy!
