Road Trippin With My 2 Favorite Allies :)

We decided to take a well deserved vacation for a week and go camping. We had a great relaxing time in Fish Lake National Forest and AF Canyon. We honestly did nothing but soak up the sun, nap, hike, and eat!  Best time ever :)

Once we got home we went on a Float Trip down the Provo River one of our favorite summer activities!  Free outdoor adventures are the BEST!

Well in the record book the biggest event of this June is that my baby sister got married! We are so excited to have Scott in the family and can just tell that he will bring lots of laugh's and a light hearted happiness to our extended family!

My silly little sister decided to have her big day 4 weeks after the engagement... In my opinion the sooner the better weddings are hard to plan and execute.  So, why delay the inevitable stress.  We were really bussy helping out the family plan for the big day this month.  It was awesome to lend a hand and really give a little back to show how much we appreciate all the things everyone did for us on our day.

All the hard work paid off in the end they had a luau style BBQ at Nelsons Grove in Orem. The decore, fire dancers, and food were impecable! The fallowing day they said their I Do's in the LDS Draper Temple and don't they look so happy!

Tribute Camping

Memorial weekend we decided to take 3 day tribute camping trip to Wanrhodes.  

Wanrhodes was Dales favorite camping spots.  He used to rave about a far hike to a mountain shaped like a pyramid with a meadow and in the middle was a rock where he used to sit and watch for deer.  When he was sick he told James and I that once he had the strength he would take us there.  Since we never got the chance to go with Dale we decided that we would find the pyramid mountain. We took a hike and were feeling a little desperate after an hour of hiking, not really knowing which way to go we decided to get to higher ground low and behold once we did in the far distance we could see it!

James went ahead and pored one out for his hommie we love and miss you Wildman!

Braving the storm it rained and hailed but that did not stop our fun!

The most spoiled dog around! But really we just got a new 3man tent just so we could fit him inside and James of course retired he old sleeping bag to Duke too.. 

Despite the rain James made me a delicious Breakfast how can you not love that sweet doll face!

 What would our camp out be with out one Asian Peace Pic!! And yes we have matching coats soo lame I originally ordered purple but they sent me green oh well...

On our last night we decided to hike fifth water and soak in the hot pots. Lucky us a smelly sulfur pot is better than any hot tube!

Life Lately

Life lately has been crazy we just moved to PG which has been quit a process.... I am sure In the next few weeks we will be having a huge yard sale!

Dannay's band Temple had their first show it was awesome to see him rock out! I had an awesome time dancing in the front row with James, Sam, and Jenessa.

This last weekend Duke had a play date with Darcy and Ringo. Duke finally decided to make friends with Ringo, he can be a little bit of a jerk when it comes to big dogs but he got over it and we are happy that he has a new friend. 

We had a BBQ with Matt and Shirlanne and watched the eclipse on Sunday. It was awesome to see since the next full one is in 2017.  James is a total space nerd and loves this kind of stuff.  I swear he knows important facts about everything. He is so smart, I love listening to him get so excited.  I have to admit from time to time I have no idea what he is talking about!

On Monday we decided to wrap up our weekend with a day in SLC we went to the Aquarium in Sandy it was really amazing. We are excited over this next year to take each of our nieces and nephews for their birthdays ;) My favorite was the Jellyfish they even change from red to blue. James loved the exotic fish and the green sea turtle.  

Weekend Whirlpool...

We have had a lot going on this week first off my BFF Danna came into town for a short visit before making her exodus to LA her new home! Thursday we went out on the town and met up with one of her friends Marwan Nahle a traveling artist who took us to a pre showing of his art at Wasatch Glass Works we ended up getting home at 5am just enough time to say our goodbyes and crash and burn on the couch..... I swear never again will a wear a 4 inch heel out with that girl. Between dancing and climbing up ladders I almost died many times. 

Friday after sleeping all day I decided to take James up to the art showing.. we had fun gocking over art and glass work! Saturday James and I decided that we were overdue for a camp out so we headed up to Diamond Fork Canyon for a Cinco De Mayo Camp out. I always have a good time camping with James maybe it is because he is the master of fire or maybe it is because he is just so damn funny but he made me laugh all night :) 

The art show was amazing I love the eclectic collages my favorite was Yellowrai I was unable to find a pic available online to paste but this one No More War comes in a close second Amazing!

So funny side story Diamond Fork Canyon was one of Dales fav's for camping. We honest to goodness think he was there playing with Duke who was running around like a mad puppy playing an chasing like he used to with Dale!

This last Saturday we went to see Washed Out!! My new obsession really just give it a listen it makes you want to chill and groove.

And that is exactly what we did.....

Sunday Funday

Oh how the weather treated us well this fine Sunday:) We had a blast with friends Hiking to the top of Little Rock Canyon an oldie but goodie. James and I actually had our first kiss in that canyon! After the hike we went back to Dave and Brad's for a BBQ, Yahtzee and Pool. I love our friends they are always a good time.
