Happy Birthday Garlan!

Happiest birthday to my best friend and love of my life! I was able to surprise Garlan with a two-day camping trip with Randy and my brothers. I talked with his boss earlier in the week and he gave his approval. That Friday Randy picked him up from work early and told him not to ask questions, just to get in his car. They drove to our house where my brothers and our nephew Cannon were waiting as well as food and clothes. It was around that time that he got them to tell him that they were taking him to Randy's cabin for some shooting, hiking and relaxing. Spencer, Nate and Brooks left a little later and met them at the cabin. From what I heard they had a really great time. They came back on Saturday around 4 and I had G shower and dress quickly so we could head to dinner with some of our good friends.
Garlan does a pretty good job at spoiling the girls and me so it was fun to plan something to celebrate his awesomeness!

We love our Daddy!

I forgot to post this earlier but Garlan was also promoted at work to the Cell Phone Manager on campus. He got a brand new office!

McCoy Reunion

Here is the breakdown of the reunion. We missed parts of it because of Bella but overall got to see and chat with everyone. It was especially nice to be with Grandpa McCoy and to see Spencer and Sarah's family. Spencer and Sarah even stayed a night with us on their way back from visiting her sister in St George.
Friday - Everyone gathered in the afternoon at Sharla's church for dodgeball and other games. Then we went and had a BBQ and visited at the in-law's house.

Saturday- Some of the crew met up mid-morning on campus for a scavenger hunt (we missed this part). Then most people met up at the Rec Center to swim and play. Then everyone went back up to  Sharla's church for dinner and minute-to-win-it games.

Sunday- People went to church in the morning and then we wall met up at 3:30 at the in-law's for family pictures and dinner. They gathered everyone and shared memories of G-pa McCoy which was very special. Then we just visited and relaxed.

Here are pictures post reunion when a few nights later we had the twins and Brinks for the weekend. Cori got them all matching turtle shirts for a movie and pizza night.
