Ocean Shores

Me, Carrie and Kate looking for wild things in the dunes.

Our one match fire...don't worry it got bigger!

This weekend I planned to go camping at Ocean Shores Friday night. I woke up Friday morning and it was pouring down rain. I really hoped that the bad weather had already passed by the beach, looked up the weather on accuweather, and it showed sunshine! Yeahhhhhh. So my friend Carrie and I drove out there and had great weather all afternoon. Later on that night some more friends met us out there and we had a great time. I have to say Carrie and I ARE the queens of fire making...one match and no paper. When the guys got there they decided to build another fire at their site...it was horrible, it never got warm, they tried to smother it with leaves, and basically we all got smoked out the rest of the night. Carrie and I just had to laugh, we could have used our perfectly good fire, but that's not manly I guess.

Statistics: My Love/Hate Relationship

So it's been awhile since I've added anything. Mainly because I have had no time. A year ago, when I was planning on applying for vet school, I enrolled in a Statistics 221 Online Course through BYU. After deciding not to go to school, I kept puting it of, thinking "Oh, no big deal, I have a year", and then at the beginning of May it dawned on me that I no longer had a year to finish this course! Not only that, if I didn't finish I would not be reimbursed by my company. So I got down to business and have been working diligently to finish before my June 11th (yes, I know it's this coming Monday) deadline. My plan was to take my last midterm on Tuesday (yesterday) and take the final on Saturday. That apparently, was not to be. The midterms still haven't arrived at the testing center. Today I had to call BYU and have them resend the tests for $50...the fee to reprint and express them to the testing center and back...so that I can order the final test by Monday! I have learned my lesson...I am never taking an online course again! It's too bad it's been so terrible too because I actually really like Statistics.
