Singing Logan

Couldn't you just eat him up he is so cute!

More Christmas

Going to church....I had to bribe Brielle with treats to get her to stand still by Raegan. All she wants to do whenever I get the camera out is look in the screen. Whatever works!
The other day I had to try and make some sort of desserts for the church party coming up. I was in charge of it and so I wanted to do a fun dessert. I bought some cute little tree molds to make this great chocolate bunt cake but when I made the trees and put them on the plate they were so small that even when I added ice cream they were even smaller. Anyways, it was the same night our home teachers were coming over so I told Raegan I would just give them the trees to eat so I would stop eating them and she came up with this elaborate scheme to be a waitress and got her apron out with a pad of paper, put straws in her pockets and practiced for hours what her opening lines would be. She even called Grandma and practiced with her. Well, the minute the home teachers walked in the door Raegan's mouth stopped working and she clammed right up. Poor girl. Oh well. I guess it is okay she is a nervous around men she doesn't know well.

Christmas time!!!

Sea World has the polar express. It was a fun thing the kids liked. You watch a little of the movie and then think you are at the North Pole. Brielle didn't love Santa but the other two had a great time telling him all the things they wanted.
Posing with the Pritchetts

We had a Christmas party with some friends and read the "Gingerbread Girl". Logan absolutely loves that book. He can quote it. So we made gingerbread girls out of sugar cookies. They like using licorice for the hair. By the time we were done they were so full of candy they didn't eat their cookies.

We also made reindeer from their hands and feet.

Jake and I dressed up for our annual Navy dinner. It is an annual banquet we go to each year at the very posh Peabody Hotel where everyone dresses to the nines in their military uniforms and other attire. Great fun and wonderful entertainment, we look forward to it each year.

Dinner time or sleep time

Yet another dinner meltdown that resulted in sleep this time. I am not sure what we are going to do with this kid but after 3 hours he did finally eat and liked it. I will be gray by my next birthday!

Science Center

We ventured out to the science center. We love that place because the kids can run wild and I don't worry about them. Plus they have a great time. Here they are flying a simulated jet. I am glad Logan isn't a pilot because we ended up nose down many times.
Logan also had a little accident that day and I didn't have any extra clothes for him so he had to wear Brielle's extra 18 month old skirt. I couldn't stop laughing at those long skinny white legs running around and many others got a good laugh at his expense. He was clueless to it all but he did say yesterday he wanted to go back and wear boy shorts and not a girls' skirt!!!

Logan and Joseph flying a spaceship this time.

Brielle just hanging out looking cute.

Singing Logan

Logan singing one of the many Lightening McQueen songs

Miniature Golfing

Miniature Golfing.....it was a great place where you could feed hot dogs to alligators and play 18 rounds of golf. 18 rounds was a little too much for Brielle and Logan but they managed to have fun. Brielle thought the point of the game was to run and throw her ball into the hole right from the get go. On about the 8th hole, she finally tried her hand with the club. Very happy the weather is now nice enough to go outside without sweating to death ;)

Halloween

Preparing for the sugar intake by making chocolate Halloween creatures.
Our family at the ward Halloween party. We did the "Wizard of Oz" theme this year. Jake was the witch, I was the lolliop guild (the best part of my costume was my tights and shoes which you can't see) Raegan was Dorothy, Logan the scarecrow and Brielle was the infamous yellow brick road since we follow her anyways she might as well fit the part.

Getting ready for next year.....

Lots of pictures

Raegan had red ribbon week and so everyday was dress differently. This is her "wacky dress day".
They had a costume parade and had to dress as a character out of a book. Luckily her halloween costume was a character out of the "Wizard of Oz". Thanks Great-Grandma Aplanalp for making me a great Dorothy dress!

Day at Sea World

Raegan and I braved the 3rd row at Shamu. We were soaked. Logan and Dad chickened out and sat at the top. Nothing like the taste of cold salt water!

Posing in front of the halloween decorations.

Brielle and Logan found the "Incredibles" masks from last year.....these kids are so dang cute!

A few more pictures

At least she ate it without crying....see previous post.
Not something you see too often at the table, a smiling Logan.
Brielle has a new favorite accessory lately. She love to wear these sunglasses everywhere....the gym, the pool, the dinner table, the car, wherever. It is very cute.

Temple trip

Yesterday the kids had a primary (the kids group at our church) trip to the temple. We decided to go as a family. It was nice and chilly so it made for a great trip. Someone from the temple talked to the kids about the temple and they sang songs. Nice day overall.Part of the program was to touch the temple and make a promise to do something good. Raegan promised to get married in the temple and Logan said "Um, let me think.....Ants bite me". He didn't quite get the gist of it.
Singing at the temple

Another dinner meltdown

I guess we are mean parents making them eat what they are given.....oh the joy, the bliss of parenting!
