Alex had a up and down season in baseball this year.  They started out great, had a slump through the middle of the season and then came out as champs in the end.  They went undefeated in the tournament taking first place.  Father and son were a winning team once again.  Way to go guys !!!

The girls did great in school this year and received some wonderful awards at the year end assembly.  Sara received awards for most improved reader and earning the most points in her AR reading.  Way to go Sara!! Aubrie received the Citizenship Award, most points for AR reading and perfect attendance which also earned her a brand new mountain bike.  She was bound and determined to get that bike and she did it.  Congratulations Aubrie!!!

Aubrie and her cousin Madison had fun performing at their tumbling recital,  They are both getting to be great tumblers.

Aubrie and Sara finished performed in their ballet recital with Brindusa-Moore Ballet.  This was Sara's first year taking ballet.  She really loved the social aspect, seeing that McKenna took it with her, but she also learned to dance well.  this was Aubrie's third year in ballet and her first year on point.  She is doing very well.  She also took a jazz class that she loved.  They both did great in their performances.  We are so proud of all your hard work.

Aubrie and Sara both participated in the end of the year school talent shows. Sara and McKenna did their ballet dance. Sara couldn't stop giggling and McKenna wouldn't crack a smile. They both did great. Aubrie did a cute hip hop number with Reigan and Maddi. They made up the whole dance by themselves, and it was awesome. Way to go girls. :)

We had a very busy weekend. We also celebrated Sara's 9th Birthday. We had lots of family over for the weekend. Sara is our little diva. She has a fabulous smile and kind heart. She is always so helpful, especially in the kitchen. She is a great cook. Happy Birthday Sara, we love you !!!

Bryton finally received his Eagle recognition on May 7, 2011. We are so proud of him and all the hard work that went into receiving this award. He has set a great example for Alex. We are so grateful for all of the great leaders he has had to help and support him along the way. Way to go Bryton, we love you!!!

The first weekend in May brought our 2nd annual Spring Sprint. Bryan and I always have a great time planning the race. I think everyone enjoyed the race a little more this year since they new a little more of what to expect. All I have to say is get ready for next year, it won't get easier. :)
