Family Pictures

A few weeks ago we had our family pictures taken. It was very difficult. There was a carnival where we wanted to have our pictures taken. There was a lot of people and we had to make sure they didn't get in our shots and the kids kept getting distracted by them. Breezy did a wonderful job. Thank you Breezy you are AMAZING!

The Birthday Boy

Happy Birthday to You, Happy Birthday to You, Happy Birthday Dear Brayden, Happy Birthday to You.

This was Braydens Birthday cake. Sami picked it out. We decided that since hes a Halloween baby he should have a Halloween cake.

Before we went out trick or treating we had some friends over for dinner. She brought over some cupcakes so she had to give him one so he could have some cake on his Birthday. This was after we went trick or treating. (Way to disappear when it was time to clean him up Christine jk LOL)

After the cupcake clean-up Brayden opened his presents.

Brayden is finally eating his Birthday cake (A few days later). It was a busy weekend what can I say.

Soccer

Shayla,Jordan and Sami have been playing soccer. They are loving it. The last 2 games Sami has scored 2 goals each game. I waited for a while down by Sami's goal to get a picture of her getting a goal. Of course she made her goal as I was on my way down to get pictures of Shayla and Jordan. Last week Shayla's team played Jordan's. Jordan's team won by 1 goal. When the kids are having water breaks Brayden loves to run out on the field.

Trick or Treat

Actually its trunk or treat time. Saturday night we had our annual ward Trunk or Treat party. We had a blast. Here are some pictures of the kids in their outfits. Emily wouldn't smile. Jordan decided to do his own makeup. Brayden is the newest Phoenix Sun's recruit.

Johnson Ranch celebrated its 10th Birthday on Oct 11th. They had a lot of activities for the kids to do so we decided to take the kids down to the park to enjoy it. Here are some pictures we took. Emily was babysitting so she couldn't go with.

Shayla's Birthday

Can you believe that she is 12 already? Man how time flys.

Shayla had some friends over for her birthday. They had pizza, watched a movie and played Apples to Apples. Brayden is coming back for more food. He wants to get more ice cream from Shay.

Emily

Emily is taking a journalism class in high school. She is loving it. They have to write articles, if they are good enough they publish them in the school paper. This paper also gets sent to all of the parents. This last issue as well as the first issue had articles in them that were written by Emily. This is the one from this last issue. I hope you enjoy reading this. She also took the picture. (Hopefully you can read this, its the best I could get it.)

Brayden is walking

Brayden would stand up in the middle of the floor and take a few steps. We tried to get him to walk between Brent and I and he wouldn't. He wanted to do it his way. What a big boy. This video was taken 3 weeks ago. Now he is walking all over the place. He loves to follow me around.

Our Summer Vacation

Just thought I'd share a few pictures of our family vacation. We went to Idaho. We camped for a few days and than went up to Burley. We had a great time.

Brent is taking the kids for a ride. Emily is on the Trigger, Sami, Kalvin (Rick's) and Kenzie (Cindy's) are in the trailer. Those 3 were inseparable all week. This was after the camping trip.

This is the adults favorite pass time. We love to play games. We even got Rick to play with us. Playing cards is Emily, Erika (Rick's), Nate (Cindy's husband), Brent's Mom Marlene and Rick(Brent's oldest brother). Grandpa Great is hanging out where there is peace and quite.

The kids had a great time swimming and fishing in the lake. Jordan is showing us one of the MANY fish they caught. Shayla and Erika are getting ready to jump back in the lake. Kody(Rick's) is already in the water. Rick is watching them.

Brayden hanging out with Papa. Brayden going for his first ATV ride. He loved it. We went out later and he took a nap. I need one of these around my house specially on those nights Brayden doesn't want to go to sleep.

We had a picnic at the park. In front is Mom than Kiana (Rick's) and Joelle(Rick's wife). We had a great time. The kids love that park. They want to play there even if it is freezing outside. After the kids played for a while we took them swimming.

On our last day in Idaho we were so blessed to be able to go to the Twin Falls open house. The first picture is of Brent's family. His brother Jeff's family wasn't able to make it up. We really missed them. The second picture is of us with my friend Julie's family minus her husband. She moved to Boise and was able to meet us in Twin and go through the temple with us. It was great seeing them even though it was for a short time.

As you can tell we had a blast and didn't want to come home. Brent kept telling his mom that we were moving in.
