Our year started off on a bit of a sad note, we lost Seths Grandpa in January, and he has been greatly missed this year.
We were able to go to st George for Seths moms birthday this year and we had so much fun.
we also went on a big summer vacation over the 4th of July. we went to Michigan to see my dad and Yalanda and then the kids stayed with them and Seth and I went to Orlando to do disneyworld and Universal studios with Trent and Eryn. and then the kids drove home with Gramps and Yaya from michigan. it was so good to get a couples trip in!
AND THEN!!!!! We went to Denver for a 311 concert! it was our first concert in 773 days and it was AMAZING! We took the kids with us so it was Amberlyns first show and Taiydens 2nd. We toured the Hidee mine while we were there as well. it was a quick trip but I'm so grateful we could do it. our other 'concerts' were on tv, and while that was fun it was nothing like an in person concert.
We added a new member to our Family this year on July 24th. His birthday is May 23rd and we love him sooo much. so Welcome August to our family! He's growing fast he loves to play and sleep and snuggle.
AMBERLYN: Amberlyn graduated from Kindergarten in the spring and started 1st grade this fall. She's doing so good. She's been working really hard in her schools christmas choir which takes an extra hour of school twice a week. its not always easy but I think she mostly does love it. She turned 7 in October and we had a barbie birthday party. She has a lot of big emotions for a tiny person but she makes our life so much better by being in it.
TAIYDEN: Taiyden finished 3rd grade and is now in 4th grade, which seems so crazy! He's growing up so fast. He also is in the christmas choir and tells me he likes it and its exciting to go. He loves and helps Amberlyn so much! Im so grateful for him. He turned 9 in June and we had a video game truck come for his party. Taiyden has kept up working on guitar even though we haven't been doing lessons. and he's currently obsessed with pianos. He loves music.
SETH: Seth is still the worlds best husband! I can't believe how lucky I got with him. he works so hard for our family, and then he comes home and works even more to help clean and take care of the kids. He still works for Les Olson company and I still think he's the best one there, I'm probably biased but he is pretty amazing.
ANDREA: I worked my butt off and spent some time on me this year and lost 30 pounds. hoping I can keep up the momentum and not get too off track this holiday season. I turned 30something in January and Im loving that I've still been able to be home with my kids. I've been donating plasma because I want to be able to help people and it helps us fund trips and christmas. Im just so grateful for my family and the wonderful life we've built.
EXTENDED FAMILY: Andreas mom is doing okay. We were able to go out for Chinese food for her birthday! and Ryan is doing okay as well. Seths Dad retired and his parents are still in St. George. Andreas Dad and Yalanda are doing well in Michigan we were supposed to do Thanksgiving with them but Yalanda had to have shoulder surgery, so she's recovering at home. we miss them lots and hope she gets better soon!
We had more work done on our house to fix our TCE in the ground water issue and finally got our first clean test but will have another test done sometime this winter. fingers crossed we finally fixed it.
