Little Man Turns 2

Levi turned two on the 5th of December. We are so proud of the little man he has grown into and are continually astounded at what a big boy he is becoming. Especially his new found skills at being a big brother. We are so thankful for our fun loving energetic boy, who made us a family 2 years ago!

Welcoming with Love Micah Adams

Our family has grown to four as of 11-5-09. Micah came into the world at 12:53 PT after 12 hours of labor. He weighed 7.8 pound and 20.1 inches long. He is so sweet tempered and mellow thus far. Ben and I are thanking the Lord for a healthy delivery and the miracle that He would bless us with another child.

Fall Time Festivities

Here are a few pics from the last week of Oct. Levi enjoyed some wonderful fun with friend's at a Harvest party hosted by the Douvas family. Then on Halloween evening we headed to the Bass home for a chili party before ticker treating with Levi the lion. Many thanks to the Bass and Douvas families for such great Fall celebrations!

Baby Micah's Shower

These are pictures from the wonderful cloth diaper shower my friends here in 29 gave me and baby Micah last week. Micah was spoiled with cloth diapers, handmade items and so much more. Such a wonderful evening with dear friends, who are such huge blessings in my life!

Fall is Here

The summer heat has finally left us out here in the desert. The weather has been in the low 50's in the mornings and in the 80's during the day. To us in the desert that is indeed cool Fall temps. We've enjoyed going to get pumpkins the last two weekends. Once with our dear friends the Kara and Austin and the past weekend with daddy! Levi had some much fun picking out his very own pumpkin and loved running through the patch trying to pick up the big pumpkins. We hope you all are enjoying this wonderful time of year:)

The Big 25

Ben turned 25 this past Saturday and we had so much fun being able to celebrate his birthday while he was home. Especially since last year he was deployed during his bday. Here are a few pics from the birthday happenings.

Labor Day Weekend

We had a fabulous time over Labor Day weekend! We were spoiled with almost 5 days of Ben being home. We headed two hours away to Ikea to purchases some things for the new baby and ate at our family favorite Chick-fil-a! We stayed the night at Ben's uncle's condo in Palm springs and enjoyed the pool and being so close to shops and restaurants. Levi also got a train ride that weekend and a pony ride the previous weekend!
Ben and Levi also did some father son projects, such as changing the brakes and the oil in the car. I don't think Levi has ever been that dirty before. He sure loved spending time with his daddy doing manly things:)

Pregnancy Pics 26&29 weeks and counting...

Realized over the last couple of weeks that I have failed to take pictures of my growing belly. So here are a couple of pictures from 26 weeks along and 29 weeks along. Mommy and baby are doing great so far. Just 11 weeks to go!!!

Daddy's Boy

Recently Levi has become more interested in helping Ben around the house with projects, you know "man's work". This was the first power tools project Ben allowed him to help with and since than every time we pass by the gate he states proudly "fixed it"!
Levi loves anything having to do with daddy, here he is trying Ben's boots on for size!

It's a BOY!

Well, it's been 4 months since my last post and mostly that has been due to us finding out we are pregnant with baby number two. I had very bad morning sickness and it is just now subsiding. We just found out yesterday that we will be having a boy at the beginning of November. Name for number two will be decided shortly.
We are sorry for the delay in updates on our lives over the past few months. The other pictures are from Easter, and trip to Chicago when we went to see Ben's brother Luke graduate. Hope you enjoy!
