Some Thanksgiving pic's

This Thanksgiving we ate at my mom's house.  Kevin and my mom made a delicious feast.

Yes, we like to match (OK-the girls don't have much of a choice)

This is how Jayce helped her mom make pies.

Somehow Cassie managed to roll over Jayce and onto the floor.

Claire's stats

Little Claire had her 2 month appointment on Friday.  She weighs 10 lbs 12 oz (56.48%tile) and is 22.25" (52.55 %tile).  She is not as big as I thought!

She has a little dermatitis and baby acne.  It gets worse when she eats or gets upset.

The poor little thing had 3 shots. It makes me so sad when babies get shots!

Take that Uncle Ryan

If Ryan thought her flower headbands were too big before, I wonder what he thinks of this one?
OK- I wouldn't really have Claire wear this in public. Just to tease Ryan a little bit.

Steelers game

Blake, Don, Ryan, Dustin, Blair, and Landon all went to a Steelers game in Denver last Monday. It was Blake's first NFL game.

They got really close to the field for this picture. Their seats were actually all spread out because they couldn't get seats together for under $250 each.

What a handsome family! Too bad they were missing Devin and Rhett.

They went to an Avalanche hockey game the first night.

To Cassie From Jen

This post is for Cassie Ella in Boise, Idaho

I received the following text message this morning from my brother's cell:

"Everyone, I need your help. This is Cassie. Claire just called me and Jennifer is trying to put her in a flower headband the size of a watermelon. We need to stop her. Claire is worried that her neck cannot support all that weight. She said all Jen has talked about all week is making bigger headbands."
Cassie, while I appreciate your concern, can't you see how adorable Claire looked last night at her first party with a huge flower on her head? You'll notice in the picture below all you notice is her cheeks. She likes to wear giant flowers so her dad doesn't notice her cheeks so much and gives her a break from all the cheek pinching.

I had her wear this headband today for you Cassie.

Cassie, it's pretty amazing that a girl just shy of age 3 knows how to use her dad's phone to send text messages, and can read and write so well. Keep up the good work. We can't wait to see you at Thanksgiving.

More baby Claire

I like to make Claire wear giant flowers and bows in her hair. Poppy asked me if it was her Halloween costume.

This is what happens when Claire has tummy time. She lifts her head once or twice, becomes exhausted and falls asleep.

I thought it was cute that they were all laying in the same position.

Jayce love her sister so much. She is always singing and talking to her. Claire will stare at her face and immediately calm down if she's crying and she hears Jayce's voice.

Claire had her first real bath today. She loved it!

All ready for bed.

Both girls are sleeping in their own beds! It's a miracle!

Baby Claire 1 Week

Blake's sister Lyndsy took Claire's 1 week pictures. I think they turned out so cute. This one is my favorite of the two sisters.
