Its been so long since I have been in my blog, It saddens me that I lost all the pictures I put on a slide site that went under and under went all my pictures. What I am so Happy about is that the Pictures of Rob T and the children are still on, That was the last time Rob came with his family, he then came once more shortly after with Jayce for son Rob's 50th birthday. It's been a year today since Rob passed, its been a hard day for me and for Wendy, bless her heart, I feel so sad that I am not with her, she has been sending me pictures throughout the day of past times. I am not sure if Bob realizes its been a year, but it doesn't matter because I am sure like us we think of him everyday, its just something you do when you miss someone so dear to your heart. The kidddies had so much fun that day with Rob chucking one the driveway, he was a kid himself when he was with his children' Rob being the only grandchild for 7 years got a lot of love and attention, and had the most picture of him of any child I know. I wish I could send a email to him and tell him I see picture of his children on facebook and they look happy and healthy, Jayce started school this week, and little Grayson is his clone, Ella's grandpa came to visit all the way from MN. on his motorcycle, pretty good for someone older. I know he was a comforting part in Robs life when he was at his low point. Little Miss Ella is eight now and loves to sing and dance. I always see so many poems that say If I could only spend one more day with you, but I want to say is I was so blessed to have had many days with ROB. Even the annoying ones! I truly know how much I was loved by Rob, and that makes me a lucky Nan.

Its been so long since I have posted on my blog, but am going to put a few photo's from visits throughout the year.

First of all if anyone looks at my blog I wish for you good Health and Happiness for the coming New year.

No trips for me this past year, but that’s OK, I have had my share.:) Bob had knee surgery and is doing very well, it took no time at all for him to heal.

I have seen all my girls this year, Wendy Denise and Cindy, Rob and Mayumi live close by so we see them often. Cindy is currently staying with me and I am enjoying her company along with Simon granddogger. Taylor is going to Collage in Bolder CO. now so we get to see her more often..Daveen also started collage this year in MN. we did get to see her this summer and had a nice visit. Next year Ally and Conner should start Collage, then there will be Elisa the straggler, and that should be in three more years.. Caitlin will finished four years this coming summer, then will stay in IL. for Grad school. Rob and Beth were here this summer and the four great-grandchildren, we had a great time with the little ones. Evan came for Thanksgiving, he is such a handsome young man, and too are all of my grandsons and every bit as nice. Ally was just here for a pre Christmas visit, it was nice to see her, she was also here in Aug. for another short visit..She has a part time job and it keep her busy..

My big OHHA moment was I bought myself a new bed and its hard to leave it in the morning:) It is an adjustable bed, so in the morning I raise up the head of the bed and then raise the foot of the bed, get the blood circulating in the legs and feels so good!!! then I watch the morning news..Just getting myself ready for old age.. I know I am not old yet because I still have a good appetite and they tell me when you get old you lose your appetite...not there yet!
Most of the pictures I'm sure you have seen on face book, but for those of you who are not I hope you enjoy just a little of my busy summer.

Oh my! I just went into my slide show site and it is closing down and I am not able to upload my pictures to make a slideshow, so I will post this and in the mean time I will go search the net for another slide show site that I can use..Should anyone know of an easy one ...let me know. I hope they don't take all the ones I added ot this blogger post off...I will be MAD...

Great grandchildren 2010 Summer Fun at Nan and Pops

Happy happy mid summer..Hot hot and hotter. But before you know it fall will be here, time is going by so very quickly, they say that happens when you get older, but it's scary when you hear the young ones saying it.
This year we had two Graduates in the Family, Evan who lives in South Carolina and Daveen who lives in Minnesota. Congratulations to both of you! Now they are off to Collage. I will post pictures of my trips of both MN. and SC. and summer up till now.
I am posting this Blog while I am enjoying visiting Denise and Family in Indiana, Denise loves to shop and so do I, even though I don't buy much. We did a trip to Chicago to see Caitlin swim in a meet, than after breakfast and a visit with the girls we did about three hours in Iketa, a Swedish three story store , it was fun! I will post those pictures when I get home to Colorado has I left my usb port cord at home and not able to download pictures from camera....
Bob is doing really great now that he is on a sleep apnea machine at night, he has ever so much more energy now,as you will see in the pictures I post.
Rob is up in Alaska getting the familys winter catch of salmon, Mayumi and Elisa were up with him for two weeks, Elisa got to visit with her past friends at summer camp..She had a blast. Mayumi is enjoying the summer off from Collage.
Me, well I have been to SC twice this year and then MN. and am now in IN. so I keep very busy, thats the way I like it! I am thankful for my good health thus far...

I am not sure if I should say Merry Christmas or Happy Easter....It's been a long time since I have shared a blog with everyone. It's not that I don't have time,it is because Bob had my laptop with him while he was wintering in Las Vegas and all of my sites and pictures are stored on this computer....

It has been a long cold winter here in Colorado, not a lot of snow here in the Springs, but just darn right cold.Normally we get a week here and there in the winter like we did last year. Today was a beautiful Marge's kind of day, warm and windy.Loved it, was a great Mothers Day.

MY dear friend Gloria lost her husband Jim who took ill after a stroke and lung problems. He will be missed very much by Bob and I, he was also our dear friend. We have lived across from one another for about thirty years, so we shared many of neighbourly and friend times. Jim,over the years faithfully walked the family dog (Kitty) daily, so always there was a "Hi Marge" or "Hi Bob" when we were out working in the yard.It will not be the same with the coming of the Spring weather without seeing Jim passing by with his friend Kitty and a friendly HI... Saturday we attended a beautiful Memorial Service for Jim and here is a little part of it.. The Hymn was beautifully sung by Gloria's two cousins

WAS A WONDERFUL YEAR HERE AT OUR HOME! WE HAD FAMILY AND FRIENDS VISIT US HERE IN COLORADO..( WE LOVED IT! )

ROB RETIRED FROM THE AIR FORCE AND MAYUMI, ROB, AND ELISA MOVED BACK COLORADO, THEIR BOYS STAYED UP IN ALASKA. WISH THEY WERE HERE TOO, TIM WILL START COLLEGE UP IN AK. ROBBIE IS TAKING SOME TIME OFF. (My wish is he will start college here in Colorado) ROB WILL SPEND HIS SUMMERS UP IN ALASKA AND LIVE HIS RETIREMENT DREAM. (FISH) (well deserved) WE ARE SO HAPPY TO HAVE THEM LIVING BACK HERE:) MAYUMI IS GOING TO COLLEGE AND THIS SEMESTER WILL BE TAKING A FULL LOAD (yikes!) SO PROUD OF HER!
MY GRANDCHILDREN ARE ALL GETTING UP IN AGE, THE AGE WHERE THEY WILL START COLLEGE SOON..I KEEP UP WITH CAITLIN'S PICTURES AND ACTIVITIES ON FACEBOOK AND MY WISH FOR ALL THE OTHERS STARTING COLLEGE IS THAT THEY HAVE HAS MUCH FUN AS SHE IS. EVEN THOUGH SHE FACES CROHN'S DISEASE DISABILITIES...WHAT A TROOPER SHE IS AND A TEAM PLAYER FOR HER SWIM TEAM. (Love you Caitlin) SO PROUD OF YOU!
NOW WE HAVE THREE GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN AND HOW CUTE THEY ARE! ROB,BETH AND LITTLE ONES VISITED US OVER THE SUMMER AND WE HAD A BLAST. BETH IS SO GOOD ABOUT POSTING PICTURE'S OF ELLA, CARSON AND JAYCE ON FACEBOOK AND I ALWAYS HAVE A SMILE ON MY FACE WHEN LOOKING AT THEM. THEY SEEM TO GROW IN JUST A WEEK'S TIME.

Summer Fun with Friends and Family

Caitlin's B-D blog was wiped out because of a glitch...so I am posting these video's I took while visiting her at the University of Illinois. What a big Collage I think Denise said there were 37,000 students. I was very impressed with the campus. I videoed a clip of some of the girls on Cait's swim team, also Caitlin playing her guitar So sit back and listen to a little tune. Love U Caitlin!...
