Christmas/Winter Activities 2010
So I just read my last blog and I so failed! My little baby is not such a little baby anymore....he is growing up way too fast and it is killing me! Here are a few pictures of recent events.
The cousins going brain dead playing their Dsi's....but it really helped with the noise level.
Tyler getting his arrow of light.
Cam turns 7 months old! I am in love with this little guy. He is such a sweetheart and I have really loved every minute with him!
The famous Duncan grandkids (minus Emmi and Easton) christmas picture! Yes Brit is married to Sean now that makes me feel old!
My kids on Christmas morning!
Sydney at her school program. So cute, I am so grateful for a little girl in my life!
Tyler painting was chosen as one of the seventy that were picked out of 500 to be hung in the Springville Art musuem. It is the one right above his head.
The kids out in the snow...school was canceled the last day before Christmas break...it was so much fun! Our whole neighborhood was out in the streets playing!
So I just read my last blog and I failed miserably! My little baby is not such a little baby anymore....he is growing up way too fast and it is killing me! Here are a few pictures of recent events.

Cameron Duncan Adams

I am officially a mother of 4. Our little guy came early. He was born June 2, 2010. I had to be induced because of blood pressure issues, I thought this would take forever and I was a little disappointed that I had to be induced but everything ended up going great! I was induced around 1pm and it took awhile but around 9ish I was at a 6 and within an hour I was at a 10 and pushed three times and little Cameron was born. He weighed 7 lbs 5 oz. and was 201/2 inches long. He just wimpered a little and then just looked around. It was an amazing experience. Brent was just as shocked as I was that he came so fast. My mom actually witnessed the first of her 15 grandkids to be born. I don't think she was really planning on it but once they checked me and I was ready she was still there and we were happy to have her stay. I actually thought it was a very amazing moment to have my mom and my husband there.
The other kids didn't understand why they had to wait until the next day to come and see him. They were so excited they could hardly sleep that night. As I think back to a year ago this week and remember the pain that was felt as I miscarried, it amazes me that one year later I feel so much happiness and joy. Needless to say the other kids have been waiting for this moment for a very very long time. They are all very sweet with Cameron, especially Sydney. She really acts like his mother. She can't stand hearing him cry. She has such a tender heart and the boys love him too!!
Here are some pics, and hopefully I can keep this blog more updated and current.

Been missing these last 8 or 9 months--Pregancy??
So I have completely disappeared from the blogging world which actually makes me sad because I have missed writing about so many great events!! But as the title says, I am due in 3 weeks and hopefully we will get back on track. I have no idea why being pregnant=no blogging but that's just the way it went.
So here's to my commitment to get back on this blogging thing, for nobody else except me, because the older I get, the more I forget, and as I look back the more I really want to remember!
So, pray this baby comes soon, I feel as though I have been pregnant for an eternity!! Here's to setting a new goal of blogging again when the baby comes. Maybe I will actually post a fat pregnant picture just for posterity reasons!! :)
PS One of these days I will start from where I left off back in November but as for now we are doing well to attempt to write again!

Halloween Festivities
We had such a great Halloween this year. The kids always have a halloween parade at school. Then we had our ward Trunk or Treat. By this time I think we have all had plenty of candy but of course there is more!!
We had lots of fun at our friends party and then we went for some more trick or treating door to door!!
We had a great time!
We ended the night at the Jones house. Cute little baby Sophie! The kids wrapping me as a mummy at the fun neighborhood party!
The kids before their big adventures.
This really traumatized Brent....I think he is still recovering. :)
He was a girl at school and Tinkerbell at night! Ha Ha funny fourth graders!

More fun-filled family adventures!!
Brent and I took a trip to California. It was so fun! We went for Brent's 20 yr reunion. It was a quick trip but we enjoyed every minute. We enjoyed time with Brent's parents and loved the coast. Also, Brent saw some of his really good buddies that he hadn't seen for a really long time. Thanks to Brent's parents for entertaining us and to my parents for surviving the children while we were gone!!
Brent's parents home. Such beautiful flowers. I decided flowers make me happy!!
The beach in Carmel.
Anna, Brent and Heather walking around Carmel. Wow my in-laws are in crazy shape!
Kids went back to school, even my baby Mckay started. This is the first time that I have a couple of hours without any kids at home!! It's kind of weird but I am not complaining! :)

Then we decided last minute to go to Lake Powell over Labor Day with some awesome families in our ward. I was determined to go and show Brent how amazing Lake Powell is. He has heard me talk about this place for many years. It was so beautiful and the whole trip was full of some crazy fun adventures. We had such a great time with all these families, they are all great friends......... now back to life and the many projects that have been waiting patiently for me.

Run down of last couple of weeks...

Pictures in random order, but you can tell which one was taken after the surgery, poor little guy.

Sparklers in the back yard.
Girls camp, it's always so much work preparing but so worth the experiences when we are up there.
Stadium of fire.... these girls just loved the Jonas Brothers.

McKay loves to copy Tyler and now does this peace sign in almost every picture!!
The parade, Uncle Brady always is a trooper... the kids love this guy. He is single and available! :)

The balloons, carrying on the Duncan tradition...the rest of the family had to move away, such sell outs!
The theme....... GO GO then GO some more!!!
The fourth of July fun.
Girls camp memories.... still trying to catch up on the lack of sleep.
McKay finally had a much needed surgery to remove his tonsils and adenoids and to top of the madness Ty's baseball state tournament is all this week. I know poor planning on my part.
Needless to say I need a down week to get caught up!

Wasatch Back 2009.......
So this last weekend a big group of friends in our ward ran the Wasatch Back (including Brent)!! They did awesome, but I have to say it was kind of bitter sweet being a spectator. I couldn't help it, I had to jump in and run a little at the end of Brent's last leg. I don't think he really loved me running with him, although he would never tell me that, but it was so very theruaputic for me. The mountains are so beautiful!! It is hard to beat the scenery of the Wasatch Back in the month of June, it is so green and lush. Although I didn't get to run with them this year it was a lot of fun to watch and cheer and remember last years adventure! I was pretty proud of Brent for running this. He is not your typical runner, he usually tells me, "there is no reason to run unless you are playing soccer!" I think he must have had a good time because for not being a runner he wants to do it again next year. Love this group of people, way to go guys, I had lots of fun during the little time I was with them. The rest of the weekend we my mom and I spent in Zermatt playing with the kids! Thanks mom for your help, she is such a trooper.
The group waiting to run in together and finish!! I think they finished in like 28 hours?
Tyler and McKay ran at the end with Brent. The kids loved it, I think Brent was too tired to care.
Tyler and I running. This was in Charleston by Midway.

PS We are now recovering and our van is back and running after telling Brent that I knew it would break down.. It's just never a good idea to take an old van with 170,000 miles trekking through the mountains. Why is it that men have a hard time listening to their wives??? They literally broke down during the race. The guys keep saying it just all added to the adventure! :) I was proud of myself for not saying, "I told you so!!"
