Southwest Annual Chili Cook Off
Our kids are the perfect age for little carnival rides. We love Southwest's Chili Cook-Off. Good food and fun rides. It is so fun to watch the kids thoroughly enjoy themselves. Minus the pony rides, they are still less than thrilled when we make them ride the ponies. Each time we think they will love it, and then once they get on the pony, they do not. Oh well. One day they will either learn to love them or despise them because they were put on them against their will one too many times. We will see :)
Fort Worth Children's Opera
Over spring break the Fort Worth Children's Opera put on a couple of performances. We saw the Three Little Pigs show. It was cute and the kids loved it. I felt very cultured and fancy for taking my kids to the opera.
Once we got home, etiquette was thrown out the window and we went back to our normal ways :)

One cold winter!
It has been a long cold winter and we are ready for more consistent spring weather! We have had warm days here and there and we have relished having the warm sunshine. However, yesterday we had another ice storm. So ready for winter to be done. We definitely don't have a bad winter compared to some parts of the country, but still ready for consistent 70 and 80 degree weather, it makes me happy :).
Our life over the past several months.
Our life over the past several months.
Boys, never get tired of sword play. I usually exit the room before I get whacked by a flying object
Hmm, I wonder where their hiding place is
Our first ice storm of the season. We had about 6 inches of ice in our cul de sac.
We have mad a lot of forts this winter
Kyler has had 3 ear infections since December, poor buddy. He is getting over one right now. If he gets any more we might do tubes in his ears.
Cohen's french toast birthday breakfast. He turned 3 the beginning of January....never too late to document!
His favorite part of his birthday was going to the grocery store and picking out his birthday balloons!
Yes, this happened....I was not a happy camper. They unloaded two tubs of too small clothes into Kyler's crib. Stinkers.
When it is too cold to play outside, 4pm to dinner time is a terrible time. Movies make everything better. In this instance they were watching Tangled, mesmerized by all her hair :)
Ice cream cones at Aunt April's, doesn't get much better!
Dallas Maverick's game
We had such troopers during the olympics. At night before their bedtime, they would watch a movie on the computer and Brenton and I got to peacefully watch the Olympics. Win, win situation.
One of the random warm days
We got a zoo pass and have enjoyed our adventures there
Cohen started soccer! Brenton is the coach. Ten 3&4 year olds, its crazy!
Last, but definitely not least, in July we are expecting a.......GIRL :)
