Happy Birthday Brooklynn!!

Westgate

My parents came into town for my cousins wedding. We were very excited for them to come stay with us. Aren't they so cute!
We took them down to Westgate to eat dinner. It's a cool place with restaraunts, shops, and other cool things.
They had a live band outside playing. Brooklynn and Lex loved dancing along.
Jay even pulled out some of his smooth moves!
I think he learned them from Dancing with the stars!

Family Pictures

My Mom and Dad came to visit this past weekend. I made her take some family pictures for us. She does such a good job! Jay was a good sport. He HATES getting pictures taken. They turned out so cute! Thanks Mom!!

Dog house

Jay decided he needed to build a dog house for our new puppy. He was howling and barking all night in the garage.
Jay loves little projects like this and really goes overboard!!
Yes, the dog house has insulation in it!
Isn't he the hottest worker you have ever seen!
Made sure to wire it with a plug and lights on the front!
He had to go in to put the plug on. I can't believe he fit through that tiny little door! It was so funny!
Not sure if he is going to be able to make it out!
Then it was time to paint it. A bunch of kids in the neighborhood came over to help.
They had so much fun!
Jay was so nice to let everyone "help".
Tank was scared to go in it. Lexie and Brooklynn crawled in there and hung out for awhile to get him comfortable in it. Lexie wanted to sleep in it all night with him!
Here is the finished product! Have you ever seen such a dog house?!
It is going to have a little air conditioning unit in the summer to keep him cool!
Jay did such a good job on it and is so proud!

Suns/ Jazz game

Jay and I were lucky enough to get to go to the Sun's/Jazz game Saturday night. (Thanks Rachel and Chad for the tickets!!)
It was such a good game! It was fun to see the Jazz even though we are definately Sun's fans!
Stoudemire is my favorite!! He is so awesome!
We had so much fun!
Sun's actually won 106-104! Finally!! It was such a good game!

Happy Birthday Lexie!!

Happy Birthday Lex! 9 Years old!!

New puppy and new car!

We finally did it! We broke down and got a dog. The girls have been begging for months to get a dog. We did a lot of looking around and research to decide what kind to get.We went to the Animal Shelter first to see if they had anything. It was heartbreaking! All these old dogs in there whining and wanting you to take them home. Lex is such a tender heart. She got all teary eyed and wanted to take them all home. Most of the dogs they had were 8 yrs old or had allergy's. At least we tried!
We found this little guy instead. I was hoping for a puggle or something small. Instead we got a bull boxer. Isn't he cute!
He is 4 months old and weighs 45lbs. He won't get much taller but he will fill out a lot more.
The owners named him Tank because he was bigger then the other puppies. The girls thought that was a good name so they wanted to keep it.
They wanted to skip school to play with him all day. They love him. He is so playful and so much fun!
Part of the deal was that they were the pooper scoopers. They did it without even complaining.
We also got rid of the Hot Tamale! That is what Lexie named my car when she was 4. She said it's hot cause we live in AZ and it looks like the hot tamale candy. I have had that car for almost 5 years! I have paid my dues!! We ended up getting a Tahoe. It's so nice! I love it.

Thanksgiving

We went out to Jay's parents for Thanksgiving. Granny bought the girls a new webkin. She is always getting them gifts. She is living here now and was actually in the hospital on Thanksgiving. We went to visit her there. Brooklynn got a lion she named Dandelion.
Lex got a cheetah. They love the webkinz!
Brooklynn bonked her head and was crying. Grandpa makes it all better by pulling candy out of her ear.
That always makes everything better.

Look at all that good food. Sue spent days preparing and cooking. She is the best cook!! I'm just glad we have somewhere to go on Thanksgiving! I don't know what I will do when I actually have to cook it! Cold cereal anyone? haha
