Caden is so funny! He loves tooth brushes . I don't know how or why but it was one of his first 10-15 words he learned. He loves to brush and carry it around with him ( so not safe - but he always seems to find them) . After I brush his teeth at night he loves to fall asleep with it.
I have to admit that I am probably the one responsible for his crazy fetish but I cant help it. I started brushing his teeth before their were any teeth to brush and I am kind of crazy about brushing.
I hope their are no lasting effects Ha Ha.
I thought it would be fun to give a little background before I told about my fun weekend. Last Sunday Caden and I were getting ready for church. Chris was at work and we were a little behind so we were in a hurry. I teach the 4 year olds in primary ( they are a lot of fun but have a short attention span). I got in the shower and Caden was unusually quiet. I kept calling and he would not answer. I hurried a little faster. When I got out Caden came around the corner out of his room holding my toothbrush and tooth paste tube. He was saying NO NO! It was not hard to tell that he had been eating it because he had it all over his face. He had eaten quiet a bit so i called the poison control. While I was on the phone reading ingredients and percentages Caden found a pen and fell with it in his mouth. He was crying and bleeding everywhere. I was thinking if this lady on the phone could see what was going on she would think I was crazy! Anyway we were late to class and I don't think it mattered much because with Caden in there they don't usually listen to much anyway but Caden did manage to pull a little girl over back wards in her chair and kept everyone from listening. He will be going to nursery soon woohoo!! But I have not figured out how I will keep him out of trouble at home HA HA!!
F.Y.I - If any of your kids eat tooth paste -milk weakens the strength of fluoride. But if too much was eaten there can be some concerns- call poison control they will let you know how much :)
