Parks

There are so many parks here to enjoy... but we took a stroll back to one of the first parks we ever went to in this country. In fact the first time we went to this park it was 2007,  I was pregnant with Eli, and the family that we went with only had one kid (Noah). Now they have 3 kids and so do we!!! Can't wait to get our families back together and explore some new parks together!

What Lauren did the whole time... but mommy got some good walking in!
Eli taking Karis to where he wanted to go play....
 The park....

One of my favorite things about this country has always been the water, which is why I love this park... such a great view!
It was so windy the day we went... they really do have the same hair!

 This girl is fearless....
Ummm...no I am not ready for Eli to drive!

Camel Farm

Another must... the Camel Farm. All these camels belong to the King here, it's just a hobby of his.... expensive hobby I imagine!

Taking Mamaw to see the camels, she has been wanting to do this for 5 years...
This camel was so sweet... and pregnant!

Our guide really wanted me to get on the camel with Lauren... yeah I don't think so, she is only 11 days old.
 "Dog"
Nice Camel.....

Ok... so is anyone watching this camel...

No really... take the picture...

 Safe distance... I think!
Mamaw and her friend!

Exploring the Fort

As our time here in the Middle East comes to an end, we are spending our time enjoying the things that we love about this country. This is one of our favorite places to go and we were finally able to take Mamaw along with us.

Karis was so excited, trying to get mommy to come faster!
It's actually a long walk to the Fort from the car ....
Still a long way to go...
Looking out at the ruins....
Let's Go.....
Worn out.....
Our family.... Cheese!

They enjoyed exploring together!

Mamaw got a great shot!

Daddy and his girls!
Mommy and her big boy!

We were so glad the weather was finally cool enough for us to take Mamaw somewhere outside while she was visiting!
Taking off on their own...
Us... we don't have many pictures anymore of just us!
Sad to think that Lauren won't experience much about the place she was born, but the pictures will help!
Mamaw and her grandkids!
Capturing the moment... I am sure the next time we return here things will be a lot different!

Happy 1 Month Lauren

One month has already come and gone! It really is crazy how time flies, especially with #3. I feel like Lauren is growing up too fast and the baby stage is over.  Slow down Lauren Kate!!!
Her serious look... check out those beautiful cheeks!
 Early mornings with Mommy!

Some deep conversations with her older sister!
Happy 1 month Lauren.... no measurements yet, Dr. appointment next week but we are pretty sure she has grown quite a bit!
