Sophie is getting so long she can now likes to rest her feet up on bar. It's so cute

This is Sophie's new toy and she loves it!!

as soon as she gets in it she starts grabbing

everything and smiling

We took Soph with us to Arizona for spring training

she was able to swim in the pool. she was so cute

she loved splashing her arms and kicking her feet

This is her first time eating solids. She hated it!

every time I put some in her mouth she would gag, then

she got mad and started to cry. She likes it now though

This is how she sleeps now.. with her fingers

in her mouth.

I love how she kicks back in her her chair. She sits

and watches me make dinner.

A quick update: Sophie is now 12.5 Ibs and 22 inches long. She is 50% for weight and 78% for length. She is getting so big! Since she was born she has been sleeping in bed with Seth and I (which I love) However Seth came home the other day from work and told me Sophie can no longer sleep with us, because they has a baby die from sleeping in the same bed with it's parents. I thought Sophie would freak out and cry all night. Nope! she didn't even care! she slept just fine all by herself, infact I don't think she even misses us. Sometimes I take naps with her so we can snuggle but she gets mad. I guess she likes her space :(

So hasn't rolled over yet. We practice, but as soon as I lay her on her belly she immediately puts her head down and sucks her thumb. She's so stubborn.

Seth is still working hard in school. He will graduate this summer with his bachelors degree. He starts softball this month which he is so excited for. He has been practicing for the last few weeks and talking to me about his swing and how he has improved it.

His Giants started there season again. 3 games in and the already punched a hole in our card table, broke his phone by throwing it against the wall and made Sophie cry twice from yelling to load. Mostly she just sits and stares at him. Boys!

I am so buy with school, I feel like I'm never home. I'm sad I never get to see Sophie and when I am home I'm either studying or writing care plans :( just I more month till this semesters done. I can make it.

Yesterday I got yelled at by this old lady in a care center for taking too long to give her a shot. It was my first time so I had to show my instructor where i was going to give it and explain everything I was doing. while I was explaining it the little lady turns to me and yells, "what are we waiting for? tomorrow?" lol I tried not to laugh. Old people are so funny

Worst day of my life

Yesterday while driving home from school my right breast started to hurt really bad. I thought it was a clogged duct so when I got home I fed Sophie. NO relief and the pain just kept getting worse and worse. Then I started getting chills and flu like symptoms. I was miserable and all I could do is sit on the couch and cry. I couldn't believe how much pain I was in. Well come to find out I have mastitis. So I was miserable all night and I had to keep pumping and trying to massage out the infection. Then to make matters worse at 1:30 in the morning I was going to go down stairs to pump again, but I tripped on my blanked and fell down the stairs. I hit my back so hard it knocked the wind out of me, so I couldn't breath and Seth was freaking out cause he didn't know what was going on and all I could get out was "please get me a bucket I need to throw up". So I'm laying at the bottom of the stairs trying to breath and throwing up at the same time. Finally I got my breath back and Seth and I just sat at the bottom of the stairs and laughed. I don't know what I would do without him. Seth was so sweet, he took care of Sophie and I all night.

3 months

These are Sophies 3 month old pictures. I love them, I stare at them all the time.
She is getting so big. I love it but hate it at the same time. I don't want her to grow up so fast, but it's so much fun to watch her grow. She makes me laugh everyday. She talks so much, especially when her dad is around and she has recently started to laugh. It's so cute, it melts my heart.
I love her

Sweetest Baby

I had to share these pictures because I love them so much. Sophie is so sweet, I just can't get enough of her.

Seth and I have found a love for 7-11 doughnuts. If you have never had one I suggest you don't because you will get addicted!! I told Seth we are not allowed to buy them anymore, since we both could stand to loose a few pounds. So today he told me he wouldn't buy anymore, if he could have one more tonight. I agreed and the picture above is what he came home with. Was I mad? Yes! but secretly I was a little happy because they are sooooo good!

Update

Seth--
Seth just started another semester of school, he only has 2 more and he will graduate with his bachelors degree. I'm excited for him, but this is only the beginning. After graduation he will start applying for a masters program.
Seth was recently promoted at work to a tech lead. He has been getting so many complements about how good of a job he is doing.
Seth loves being a dad, he loves to hold sophie and talk to her. Sophie loves how animated he is, he was the first one to get her to smile. He also loves to give her whisker kisses, at first she just looked at him but now she cries. She hates them.
Other than being busy with school and work, Seth spends his time playing with Sophie and playing his X Box.

Cassie--
I just started my first semester of nursing school. So far so good! I'm still on maternity leave so I spend my days studying playing with Sophie and couponing. Besides Sophie couponing is my new love. I will NEVER pay full price for groceries again! I have managed to at least get all my grocery bills half off. And not only have I saved us lots of money, I have been really building up our food storage. It's very time consuming, but I recommend everyone do it.

Sophie--
Sophie is the best little girl in the world. We cant get enough of her. She had her 2 month check up today. She weights 10lbs 15oz!! what a fatty! She also had to get her shots :( she was so upset, she cried and cried! It made me feel so bad.
She has been smiling so much lately and has recently started cooing. I love it, it's the cutest. She sleeps through the night and when she wakes up in the morning (about 6am) she always has the biggest smile on her face.
Seth blessed her the day after Christmas. It was a beautiful blessing but she cried the whole way through it because her headband fell down on her eyes.
She is so sweet and we are so blessed to be her parents!
