Episode 4

Well...I'm confused at this point. Ive created every episode in my head a thousand times and not one episode has turned out like I imagined it would. I think that biggest loser needs to hire me as one of their story producers...I have way better ideas! This week I can only be grateful! My husband lost 15 pounds, and my cousin lost 11 pounds! That is amazing, and to the show I am forever grateful! Now my husband goes running with me and Saturday we are running a marathon together. We are living dreams of mine that 6 months ago I thought I would never experience. Together, Dane and I have set goals and have made plans that will change not only our lives but our kids lives as well. So I feel happy and blessed! Dane is an amazing person and I was just hoping that the world would get a better taste of that. I wish we all had been along side of Dane for the whole ride. It is amazing what takes place in real life and what editing can control. I've heard stories of what took place on the ranch and then I watch the show and it seems so different. The network will do whatever it takes to make a great show, even if it means tearing someone apart, and making them look like a fool in front of everyone they know. My heart kinda goes out to Joelle at this point. No human being should have to go through the embarrassment she has to face right now. Blaine & Dane's team were portrayed as evil game players tonight thanks to the editing and I hate it! The network can control a lot but in the end they can't control who wins! Dane is doing all he possibly can right now to reach his goals and I know in the end it will pay off for him! I will miss Dan-he was a sweet kid! He looks great though and I am happy for him! No matter what happens with the show I love that for the first time Dan is experiencing what it feels like to breathe normally after walking ten steps and not having to take 12 different medications daily. There is something so pure in what each contestant is doing to better their lives, but still the producers show backstabbing and negativity. I guess that's what gets them good ratings. SAD! Dane goes on and on about all the amazing things that took place on the ranch, he was able to see first hand how having the burden of your weight can be lightened, and it has made him a different person all around. I would love to write an episode with that as my main focus. Would anyone want to watch my show?

Episode 3

So Dane and I just got into our first fight since he came home. What the freakin heck!!! Why is lazy weirdo still here? She doesn't even Care! Damien was at least working hard. I'm so angry! I feel like Carla throwing those weights around. I guess Joelle's prayers were herd, Carla would have laid some serious smack down and KILLED her. Oh and by the way my husband told me he was going to be on this TV show but I haven't really seen him yet, and I'm starting to doubt him. He can talk and he has lost more weight than anyone on the show, but I guess that is not enough to get you air time on The Biggest Loser, you have to not work out, or cry, or say stupid stuff. Does anyone really care about the Drama? I want to see more barf, I want to see Jillian killing them and I want to see them crying because their lives are changing. I don't want to see lazy weirdo anymore! In Dane's defense the girls on his team wanted Damien out and they begged Dane and Blaine to vote him home. Damien was kinda a Perv and missed his fiance a little to much, focusing his sexual attention on other female contestants. It must have been bad if they wanted Joelle to stay over Damien. So I'm sorry to say we have to watch lazy weirdo another week or so because some red contestant was a little to horny. I'm going to have to watch "The Office" or "Friends" to get over this. I'm happy about two things however, Blaine throwing all his pills away, I love him and his family and that was an amazing accomplishment, and Dane with his 18lbs! You are working so hard for me and the kids and I love you for that. Every pound you lose changes our family forever! Thanks babe!

Our First Family Hike

Today we hiked the Wind Caves. It was so much fun, perfect weather and sooooo pretty! I love AZ! I used to hike this trail all the time when I was little, so I was so excited to finally bring my own kids. I was affraid that our kids wouldn't be able to handle the hike, but they handled it like pro's. Grandpa and Uncle Benson went with us so Quinci got her piggy back rides often, but Cotter was our little "Leader of the Pack". He was so impressive-I don't think many four year olds would have done what he did today, and he did it without complaining! What a little man. I love that kid-so tough! Cruz got to ride on daddy's back the whole way and as you can see it exhausted him. He got to sleep the entire way down. The popsicle at QT made the whole experience a little more worthwhile for QJ, she wasn't as enthusiastic when I asked her if she was having fun. Overall it was a fun trip & I think we will be back to visit Nature soon!

Episode 2

Ok I may be bias, but I LOVE this season! I know my husband is in the cast, but I am falling in love with other cast members. I loved Stella, she was the sweetest and I was sad to see her go. My heart absolutely broke for Jerry! I swear it stopped beating for a second when he stepped on that scale and it said 1lb. I'm not a crier, but I felt the tears. I thought they made the right decision however in sending him home. he has never been separated from his lovely wife Stella for more than a day so this was a grueling week for him. He said that he missed her so much he was sleeping in her bed! So sweet! His transformation was amazing so sending him home was a good decision. I appreciate Dan and his situation, I think Tara's hilarious, she is kinda mean but hilarious, I love Felipe's temple picture- he is a great guy and of course I love Dane and Blaine!I really love how supportive this cast is of everybody! Diehard's-have you ever seen a cast pull together like this season's? I love that they are all there for each other. Thank you Tara for giving your phone call to Felipe, thank you all for going and supporting Dan up that last stretch of the hike and letting him finish it on his own, thank you for being on the same page during eliminations, thank you all for actually realizing why you are their and actually wanting to workout (except Joelle)and finally my biggest thank you of the week has to go to Bob. Thank you Bob for going Jillian and freaking out on Joelle! That woman is crazy and she needed that! 30 seconds weirdo-just do it! I love the crash and earthquake filming when she thought she needed to do steps..."I'm ok, I'm ok".

Highlight of the week: 900 freaking lbs! That's right-Dane is the Alpha Male of season seven! Go babe! I was screaming with laughter at Jillian's reaction, after yelling at him to push Blaine she laughs,"I can't believe you just did that"!

Jazz & Me

Dane and I went and saw Marley & Me last night. It was a good movie and we left with a new appreciation for our dog. I didn't quite get the purpose of the movie cause their really wasn't a story line until you got to the end of the movie. Then the water works began...for Dane. I looked over at him and his eyes were glistening. The relationship between a man and his dog is a powerful thing. I may have shed a few tears myself, but I haven't seen Dane ever cry while watching a movie until now. It must be an "Old Yeller", "Man's best friend" kind of thing. I thought it was sweet! I don't think he would have cried though if one of their kids had died, the dog is what really chokes him up!

Imagine I'm dancing with Jazz. She is trained to not jump up on you so I couldn't get her to dance with me.

Dane Pondering life.
If you haven't seen the movie you won't really understand these pictures. I recommend that you go see the movie it was cute. A great date movie!

I used this video in my YW lesson today. I love my Savior and I love this song. If Christ is not in your life open your heart to his life, he will show you his love for you and you will see him bless your life. Happy Sunday!

So Proud

I've never seen a kid so proud to show off his teeth! I just lift up his lip like this and everyone starts laughing. He thinks that it is the greatest thing in the world!

It's a Guy thing

Cotter got his leg totally stuck in his bed the other day. I went into his room to rescue him and I tried pushing his leg up and I tried pulling the wood slats apart and I couldn't get his leg out. He then tells me that I have to unscrew the slats from the bed, and I said well lets try pushing your leg this way and he looks at me all frustrated and said, "Mom, just call Dad"! He was convinced that this mess was beyond me and only Dad could help him now. I know how to use a drill, and I was more then capable of getting him out, but I couldn't resist cause it was so cute. So I got Dane on the phone and Cotter tells him exactly what to do to get his leg out and Dane came home and...did exactly what cotter told him to do. They unscrewed the wood slats and got his leg out. Daddy got to be the Hero today. It is just funny how he knew that Dad would understand what he was talking about, cause it's "totally a guy thing".

It was only a matter of time...

Before:

After:

I knew the day would come when she would cut her hair, I just wasn't prepared for the MULLET! I was devastated when I went to their room last night to find a pile of her precious hair and the evil scissors she used for the massacre. She sees me cut hair all the time and shows so much interest, I probably have the only 3 year old who knows how to mix color and foil someones hair. She cut herself bangs, short hair and layers. She thought she knew exactly what she was doing, and she acted like she was little miss thing. It didn't bother her at all when I told her hair was ugly-she felt so beautiful! I loved her long hair so much, but part of me is glad she cut it because I never would have otherwise. Just don't tell Q that!

Episode One

It was a party for sure! Healthy, Low Calorie snacks and screaming Family. It was so fun to watch them both, and I'm hoping that their personalities come out more throughout the rest of the season. They are hilarious together and I'm sure we will get a taste of that in upcoming episodes. I loved that they showed them hugging every other clip. I love that they showed Blaine barfing out the window-so gross and funny, I guess that was the popular spot...Dane used that window as well. The first workout was really intense-it lasted about six hours and everyone was happy when they got to throw up because it meant a quick break from Jillian's grueling workout. The challenge was amazing, I loved the photo finish of Dane winning by an arm-well done babe! Cotter was cheering you on! Dane actually didn't realize that the race was close until he saw Aubrey out of the corner of his eye, and then he knew he had to run for it. Overall I thought it was great episode and I think it is going to be an amazing season! I can't wait for next week!
