Fishing Fun

We took the boys fishing the other day at our friend's pond. The weather was beautiful and I loved sitting back and watching the boys enjoy the great outdoors.  Plus there is something so adorable about kid fishing pictures.

It was a good night!

Kidzania

Over Labor Day weekend I took the boys to Kidzania with my mom.  It is essentially a kid-sized and kid-run city.  There are about 30-40 different exhibits where kids can learn about and more various roles.  It was really cool and the kids enjoyed it.
The boys worked out at the gym.

They scaled buildings.

Sutton learned all about how to fight fires and then got to put his new skills to the test.  The loaded up into a fire truck and used water guns.  It was so cute!

Vance's favorite was the flight simulator that was located in an old American Airlines plane.

The counted money and looked for counterfeit bills in the vault.

Sutton learned how to do a check-up on a dog at the pet clinic.

They learned about laying flooring and plumbing at the handyman shop.

They opened up bank accounts and got credit cards at the bank.

Grandma paid for the boys to make their own pizzas which the boys were really grateful for because they were getting hungry!

Then the boys practiced their delivery skills to see if they'd be good Amazon drivers.
We finished the afternoon with a trip to a new dessert place.
We originally had other plans for the rest of the holiday weekend but we were all pooped after Kidzania.  We spent the rest of our three-day weekend hanging out at home ;)

Batting Cages

Keller is always asking to go to the batting cages.  One Sunday morning we all loaded up and went together.  Everyone had a blast hitting a few balls.  I didn't get any pictures of Chad and I batting but we took some swings too.  I love anything that keeps us active and having fun together!

I can hardly wait to see how Keller does at his first baseball tournament this weekend.  He has been working hard and I hope it pays off!
