October 24th, we had a play date with Charli and Maranda. We played around the house while Maranda got ready to go.
Sweet Pea and Charli sharing some puffs… Or shall I say, Sweet Pea hogging the puffs…
Charli was giving some funny looks that day. I was cracking up at her. I tried to catch some on camera, but this is about as good as it gets.
This picture is funny to me… Sweet Pea is laying in the floor turning up the puffs and Charli is just chillin’ over there…
Charli has this little mummy that dances and sings Thriller… It was too funny watching them with that thing. They were both mesmerized by it.
Sweet Pea wanted to sit in Charli’s lap at one point…
We went upstairs to Charli’s bedroom to get her dressed. I left the room for just a minute to empty my bladder…. and this is what I came back to… It doesn’t take these girls long to destruct…
We finally got out of the house, ate lunch at one of my favorite places… City Cafe… and then went to the mall.
The girls were pretty good so we treated them with a cookie. (It was a bribe too…. Sweet Pea wouldn’t use the public bathroom because she is scared of the loud flushing toilets… So, I had to bribe her with a cookie to get her to pee!)
Sweet Pea sharing her cookie with Charli… How sweet!
Pretty girls!
Sweet Pea was not wanting to share her drink though…

She was telling Charli “No.” at this point. Haha! We are working on this!!!!
That evening, we went trick or treating on Sorority Row at the university. We had never been before, so we gave it a try. There were kids everywhere!! So packed! It was fun though. And Sweet Pea enjoyed it.
My little lady bug!
Charli was a candy corn witch (her mom says she was just a witch… her costume just so happened to look like a candy corn… but I say Candy Corn Witch! :-) So precious!
Sweet Pea was so excited about seeing the “ephant” Big Al. She even told a random stranger “Roll Tide!” But when Daddy and Sweet Pea went up to have their picture made with Big Al, she started crying and was scared. She wouldn’t even show her face. She had her hands covering up her eyes. BUT as so as they walked off, she dried it up and was talking about the “ephant” again. Haha! Crazy kid.
Charli was getting a little fussy at that point. She had not really had much of a nap all day, and she was not liking that hat at all.
Of course, I had to try and get a picture of them together in their costumes. They were just too cute.
And that was about it… Sweet Pea walked off after that one.
