Brush 'em, brush 'em, brush 'em, brush 'em

That's my girl!!
She looooves floss! She sneaks into the bathroom drawers and unrolls the WHOLE spool of floss and loves every minute of it! She also loves her princess toothbrush. Hopefully this love of toothbrushes and floss will help her to not have any cavities, unlike myself! Let's just say it's a good thing they make white fillings now, or my nickname would be metal mouth! TMI!!

Great form Ellie!

Okay, so Wyatt looooves his rain boots (2 sizes too big), and he insists on sleeping in them. He usaully has his hat on while sleeping as well as his boots. I'll have to get a pic of that sometime. It's cute but I'm sure his bed isn't as clean as I'd like it, due to his rain boot obsession, but hey....blankets will wash!

Cheeeeese!
This is how I found them while watching a movie. I usually have to physically place them in this position. I am so grateful they are really starting to play well together and watch out for one another. It's GREAT!

His favorite hat! He wears it everywhere!

Ahhhh...finally, I've caught up!

So, our blog is finally up to date! This last week we went with The Carpenter's and the Bekker's to Ventura beach at surfer's point. It was really fun! I don't think Wyatt or Landon sat down once! It was nice to escape the heat. After we were done, we stopped at some fruit stands and took advantage of all of the fresh fruits and veggies this area has to offer.

The MTC

I can't even imagine the thoughts that go through a persons mind right before they go into the MTC to serve a mission. I think Tyler had alot of mixed emotions. Although knowing that serving a mission is what he wanted to do, I'm sure it would be hard leaving home for two years. As I said before, we are very proud of him....go get 'em Ty!

This is the last time Ty and Jed will see each other for over 3 years if Jed decides to serve a mission. Jed had a hard time saying goodbye, but I know Tyler is setting a good example for his little bro.

Like I said before...GO GET 'EM TY!!!

Farewell Activities...

Posted below are my little brother, Tyler's farewell activities. Tyler is serving in the Tuxla-Gutierez Mexico Mission. We are all VERY proud of him and love him very, very much!

Saying good bye to Wyatt and Brielle.

Proud parents

Me and my brothers....Bryan, Tyler, myself and Jed. Pictured the night Ty was set apart.

My mom and I after Ty's farewell

Kiss 'em all goodbye Ty!!! (Every missionary has got to have a picture of the girls at home...or so I am told)

The boys pretending to roast hot dogs. A few minutes after this picture was taken, we had to confiscate their weapons because they were chasing each other with the hot dog roasters.

Mmmmmm, this was my favorite table.....the desserts.

Yum-o!

We celebrated my cousin, Krista's 18th birthday.

Back porch sittin'

The kids had sooo much fun running around from dawn 'til dusk. It made it nice for us because they would sleep like babies.

Dinosaur Park

While visiting my mom and dad, we went to Dinosaur park with My grandma, mom, Bryan (my bro.) cousin Jessica, her two kids, cousin Chelsea, and my kids. It was a family affair. We had a blast.

Ahhhhh, what a wonderful family picture.

Bry helped me out a ton with Wyatt and Brielle. Thanks!

Wyatt did NOT like us putting him on top of this dino. But...we made him anyways.

Bry and Wy (which is what Ellie calls him now).

Grampa Steve and Gramma Sandie's in July

In July, the kids and I went home for Tyler's farewell. We were there for about 2 1/2 weeks. We had so much fun visiting with our families. Thank you for the fun memories!!

Brielle would play all day in the sandbox which resulted in a head full of sand!! She loved to throw sand in her own hair...and anyone else within a 5 foot radius.

Wyatt would follow my dad around in the yard ALL day long. This is taken in the garden by the lilacs. Our lilacs are very tall and so is my dad....he is 6'8".

Mowing the lawn with "ampa's big awnmower"

In the pasture looking at the neighbors horses.

He loved rides on the three wheeler.

Wyatt was in HEAVEN being around all of the outdoor equipment. When we couldn't find Wyatt, we'd go straight to the trailer and sure enough, there he was.

The mosquitos were horrible. If you look closely, you can see the bites on Elle's face. Although the mosquitos were out and about, it didn't stop us from playing outside.

Zooing with The Bekkers

The zoo today was SOOO hot. But the kids had a blast anyways. Wyatt loved the giraffes and Brielle just liked to be out and running around.

Little James and Wyatt were determined to crawl around with the Tortoise.

Brielle would get VERY upset when she didn't get what she wanted. Tara picked her up and Brielle immediately stopped crying. This has happened on several occasions. Tara has got the touch.
