Count down for the New Year and school reopen!!!

Times run fast, today is the last day of 2008. How you spent today???
School will reopen on this coming Fri. I must iron all my children school uniform by today, too bad keep it for 7 weeks, now got no chance that I can skip to do again!!!! Another busy year for me to come....or a busier year. Ready for my 'run whole day' live....My eldest in morning section, 2nd boy in afternoon for his new school live in Primary school and my DT is really FIRST year to school (Nursery class for 3hr). Just imagine still not include any tuition classes or school activities I must run for 6 difference timing for my kids go and back from school....oh!!!

#1 basket I sew

I try to sew a basket need to put some of my SB embellishments, but i made a mistake about the measurement I want. Its higher and the width a bit shorter than the size I want. So now you can see its come out like that (photo). My DT says its not a basket, its a bag for her...ha ha!!! Oh! My 1.5hr done basket.

a jeans little tote bag

After I made a "jeans bag" for my sis still have left some fabric, so I finish it to make another little tote bag. Its mini but still can put in hp, keys, purse, an umbrella, tissue....

A "Jeans bag" for my sis (CY)

My sis CY requests to sew a "jeans bag" for her. And this is the one I made for her. I just think that instead of ONLY jeans will look common, simple and will looks like a school bag. So that I have an idea these (show photos below)- The a closure flap of the bag can be adjust for double sited usage. And adjustable strap with 2 button holes(at one site). Sorry that I am not good in description hope that who read this can understand what i mean.

When I did half way of it I just wondering I'm not that like the cover also "jeans"(B) and can't make decision whether my sis will love the result comes out(A). So!! I make it "flexible". Let my sis adjust herself which cover she want.

2nd knitter tote bag

This is the 2nd crochet tote bag I have done. I tried to finish it during my long long journey on the road but......hmmm.....I can't. I had just finish it.

Fabrics from my SIL. Many thanks to her past these fabrics to me. I think I can no need to buy fabric for sometimes and I can do more practice of my sewing skill. But....I think eeehhhh...must be NEXT YEAR. Now is school holiday busy with 3 children at home. I very hope to do more sewing now because I can learn from my mom. She will be staying with us for hmmm...few weeks....??!!

I'm back

I'm back!!! What I did for my blog break??? Back to my hometown for visited my PIL, Mom, attend my cousin bro wedding............SPEND TIME WITH FAMILY!! Its happy but tire of the journey here and there!! What they did during the long long journey...

Bag I sewn today - fail

I tried to sew a bag I saw few days ago while I was going out with my family to the Book Fest. Of course it was in very beautiful fabric. I just wondering the bag I sewn someway I make wrongly because the result comes out its not the same. And during the 'turning part' from inner to outer its just can't TURN the 'right' way........someone can tell me?? Actually I saw a book from library before was telling how to sew this bag but I .....az I think I should borrow it again!

DigiSB (QP) - you are so SWEET

#2 boy last day of kindergarten

Today is my #2 son last day of his kindergarten. Next year is another new school life begin - Primary.
Today need to school early than usual and dismiss on 11am.

Today no need to wear school uniform and after the performance he love sooo.... much of the "porcupine hairstyle" need me to comb for him this early morning.

Oooohhh! School holiday begin!!!!

#2 dress

I've no time to SB because of this. I done it half way yesterday so I WANT to complete it first. Is that the colors look obvious?? Because its not GOOD price and good fabric, I bought it when I just starting try to sew.I think is the time for me CAN be use better (a little bit high cos) fabric after many trying and practising??!!! My #2 boy says those looks like TV (artist) people wearing. I know what he mean. He saw that Nyonya movie showing (will coming soon on Chanel 8).

I have received my prize in a pizza box I won from Artz de Scrap. Its really bring me back of my SB mood. Can't wait to use it for SB!!! But no time to do now.....azzz!! (fingers are so itchy).

Change hobby?

Recently I am not doing SB/digiSB and I love to browse a lot and a lot of craft and sewing website or blogs. Especially sewing. You can see I do sewing more than SB now. Am I change my hobby???Hope not!! Ha ha! Can't guarantee myself. But recently I love to do sewing more than SB (hope I may not wasted my SB embellishment kekekeke!!!!). Anyway terrible long school holiday coming...Most of my time will spent with my 3 children and I will not have any "personal" time. Oh! oh!
